Our Story
Hi, I’m Mithun Mathew, founder of Movers NL.
Movers NL was born from a simple idea — to combine hard work, trust, and community to create a moving company people can rely on. What started as a vision while I was a student in Halifax has grown into a dependable, full-service moving company operating in both Nova Scotia and Newfoundland, with long-distance services across Eastern Canada.
My journey began in Halifax as an international student studying Aircraft Maintenance at NSCC. During that time, I worked part-time as a refueller at PAL Aviation, where I learned the importance of precision, responsibility, and teamwork. After graduation, I moved to Newfoundland and started working as an aircraft mechanic at PAL. With every step, I gained experience — and the drive to build something of my own.
Over the past five years, I’ve launched and managed multiple businesses including Movers NL, SpiceX, and Snow B’ys — all built on the same values: service, reliability, and community care. With that foundation, we’ve built a strong, passionate team that takes pride in doing the job right.
Today, Movers NL proudly serves local communities in Halifax and St. John’s, offering:
